2017 Off to Sweet Start as PEEPSFEST® Announces Winners of Scholastic Diorama Competition

Area students had a sweet start to the New Year when their dioramas were chosen as winners in the 2016 PEEPS® Scholastic Diorama Competition during PEEPSFEST®, the free family festival presented by Just Born Quality Confections and ArtsQuest Dec. 30-31.

More than 60 dioramas incorporating PEEPS® candy were created by local school children and were on display during the event, which took place at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.

Peep 182 by Adam Pryblick AJ Colon and David Amato of St. John Vianney Regional School was named the “PEEP-les Choice” winner based on voting at the festival, while Peeps in Space by Owen Boger of Joseph P. Liberati Elementary School was named “Best in Show” by the official PEEPSFEST® judging panel.

Winners took home PEEPS & COMPANY® Gift Bags, and “Best in Show” winner Owen Boger dropped the PEEPS® Chick on New Year’s Eve during the festival. The PEEPles Choice diorama and all first-prize winners will be displayed for an entire year at the Just Born exhibit at the Northampton County Historical & Genealogical Society’s Sigal Museum on Northampton Street in Easton.
