starrynight

Area students had a sweet start to the New Year when their dioramas were chosen as winners in the 2017 PEEPS® Scholastic Diorama Competition during PEEPSFEST®, the free family festival presented by Just Born Quality Confections and ArtsQuest Dec. 30-31. More than 90 dioramas incorporating PEEPS® candy were created by local school children and were on display during the event, which took place at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.

“The Most Magical Place on Earth” by Isabella Bautista, Aliah Corrado, Grace Hartman, Ryanna Kral and Kara Vaquez of Our Lady of Perpetual Help School was named the “PEEPles Choice” winner based on voting at the festival, while “New Year’s Peepin’ Eve” by Samantha Kuchinski of Joseph P. Liberati Intermediate School was named “Best in Show” by the official PEEPSFEST® judging panel.

Winners took home PEEPS & COMPANY® Gift Bags, and Kuchinski, the “Best in Show” winner, dropped the PEEPS® Chick on New Year’s Eve during the festival.
