Directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini
Starring Paolo Bonacelli, Laura Betti, Giorgio Cataldi
In Italian with English subtitles

Taking place under Benito Mussolini's rule in Fascist Italy, four Fascist libertines in the Republic of Salò organize a massive roundup of youths to bring to a secluded mansion where they are subjected to horrendous acts of torture and eventual death.

Adapted from Marquis de Sade's book, 120 Days of Sodom, Pasolini's Salò explores a cruel and grim reality in a hopeless and isolated world occupied by Fascist and sadistic ideologies. The film also has an extensive history of being censored, heavily cut and even banned in various countries due to its extreme imagery, but eventually reached uncut status long after its initial release in 1975.

Salò is ruthless, unforgiving, and is absolute true horror on celluloid.
