The ArtsQuest Cinema at SteelStacks will house two cinemas, a 100-seat venue and a 200-seat venue, that will present independent, foreign, documentary and art films. Several times each day, ArtsQuest will run a 30-minute orientation film on Bethlehem and the Bethlehem Steel site in one of two digital art cinemas.
The theatre will include stadium-style seating and the latest high-tech amenities, while showcasing Saturday morning family features; Friday and Saturday movies at midnight; cinema education and discussion groups and film series.
The ArtsQuest Cinema at SteelStacks will be the first cinema in the area that allows you to select and reserve your theatre seat when you purchase your ticket, whether online or at the box office.
In
addition to the films and programs presented by ArtsQuest, the cinemas will
host presentations from the Southside Film Institute’s annual
film festival and Latino films presented by the Hispanic American League
of Artists.
