Smooth Retsina Glow is one of the hardest working bands to come out of PA in sometime. Originally called Stoney Run Group, they formed in summer 2015 under Marie DeFilipps and Colin Wolf. After a name change in 2017 to Smooth Retsina Glow, they teamed up with Berks County Bassist Bennie Simms to release their debut album Stoney Run Group. This album successfully put them on the map and went on to receive critical acclaim from universal music underground, and Steel Notes Radio. In addition, it was nominated for best original album in Lehigh Valley Music Awards 2018

In 2019, they experienced a lineup change, and began releasing music from their 2019 album, " At New Frontiers" and teamed up with Robert Syfert. The singles from this album, as well as the music video for the song "New Frontier" received critical acclaim from radio regionally and abroad as part of Australia's Bank Radio Australia Program, with the third single " Walking a Straight Line becoming their 8th most popular song the week it was released in July 2019.

Some of the venues they have played included Mayfair, Blueberry Festival, Kutztown Folk Festival, Allentown West Park, and they opened up for Craig Thatcher's Eric Clapton tribute in May 2019 as part of Rotary's got Talent at Symphony Hall. They usually gig an average of 6 to 8 times a month at various venues around the Lehigh Valley and beyond, and maintain an active social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, and their website,
