Fronted by singer-songwriter Billy Bauer and accented by the other-worldly tones of electric violinist Chris Lorenzetti, Billy Bauer Band combines the musicality and groove of contemporary jam bands with the storytelling and accessibility of heartland rock. This captivating sound has earned the band noteworthy gigs at high-profile venues and festivals across the nation, including CMJ Music Marathon (New York, NY), Musikfest (Bethlehem, PA), ArtsFest (State College, PA), Coca-Cola Park (Allentown, PA), Bryce Jordan Center (State College, PA), The Bitter End (New York, NY), The Living Room (New York, NY), The Listening Room (Nashville, TN), The Rave (Milwaukee, WI), and Levitt Pavilion (Bethlehem, PA).

Since its formation in 2006, Billy Bauer Band has opened for nationally touring artists including Third Eye Blind, Young the Giant, Philip Phillips, OAR, Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms, Tim Reynolds (Dave Matthews Band), Pete Francis (Dispatch), and more, and has had its music featured in various formats by ESPN, Disney, Six Flags, SuperCuts, Sam Ash Music Stores, and Radio 104.5 Philadelphia.

The band has become known for its stirring Dave Matthews Band tribute, performed at select venues a few times per year. The tribute show has sold out Musikfest Cafe in Bethlehem, PA on multiple occasions, and has had several strong showings at Mauch Chunk Opera House (Jim Thorpe, PA), Newtown Theatre, Musikfest, and more!
