Focusing on the music of the “Jazz Age” and “Roaring 20s,” when pioneers Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton and Eddie Lang among others were inventing a new form of music that kept America dancing right up through the Great Depression. The show focuses on the music from 1917-’30 with brief discussions and facts about the artists and songs that the 11-piece band features.
