Improv 101 focuses on the 3 core principles of comedic improvisation: agreement, being active, and justification. We designed our classes to create an energetic and supportive environment for play. Whether you never took the stage before or you’re a seasoned improviser, you’ll get a lot from this class.

Jon Lunger is a Bethlehem-based comedian, improviser, writer and cat-lover who has been performing improv since the good old days of 2012. You can currently see him perform as part of the improv teams Spitfire and The Flumplenarfs. He also co-stars with Matt Candio in the two man, pseudo-improvised show “Spoiler Alert,” which aims to recreate movies, live on stage, as well as the paranormal-themed show “Aliens That Are Ancient.”

Jon studied improv at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre in New York City under the tutelage of Molly Lloyd, Kate Zelensky, Nicole Drespel, Gavin Speiller and more very funny people.

Jon has starred-in, directed and produced a number of shows at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, PA, including "What's in the Box," "Choose Your Own Misadventure" and "New Phone Who Dis." From 2012-2017 he was ¼ of the improv team ManDudeBro.
