Premiers, Broadway and Big Finales: September Film Lineup at Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas

Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA. August 27, 2025 – The big screen at ArtsQuest’s Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas will be shining bright this September with a dynamic lineup of premieres, milestone anniversaries and cinematic finales. From comedic new releases and timeless classics to Broadway blockbusters and beloved period pieces, audiences can experience stories that span genres and generations.

Kicking off the month is “The Roses” (Rated R) starting on August 29, a modern reimagining of the 1989 classic “The War of the Roses”, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman. That same weekend, movie lovers can also dive back into ocean with Steven Spielberg’s legendary thriller “Jaws (Rated PG),returning to theaters in honor of its 50th anniversary. Experience this showdown between a New England police chief, a shark hunter, a scientist and a huge white shark on the big screen for the first time in decades.

September continues with Disney’s theatrical release of “Hamilton” (Rated PG-13)on September 4, offering fans the chance to experience the Tony, Grammy, Emmy and Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway smash hit in movie theaters nationwide for the first time. Followed by a 10-minutes roundtable cast conversation, this 10th Anniversary feature is one you don’t want to miss.

Rounding out the September lineup is the long-awaited cinematic farewell “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale” (Rated PG) on September 11, bringing the Crawley family saga to a sweeping close.
