From Timothee Chalamet to Sandra Bullock, this six-week class studies the Sanford Meisner Technique, the act of living in the moment and uses improvisational tools for acting whether it is stand up, comedy, film, or theater. Study from acclaimed “Epiphany” director, Katina Sossiadis, who will make her second feature in summer of 2025 with her sister, Koula Sossiadis, entitled "The Next Play.” Katina will teach you the core of the Sanford Meisner Technique as she takes you on the path of spontaneity and improve, and the act of live moments.

There will be a Graduation Show on Thursday, June 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas where all students will perform brief scenes demonstrating the Sanford Meisner Technique in front of an audience.

Katina Sossiadis

Katina Sossiadis began her film career by working in the film industry in New York City on such films as "Far From Heaven" and "Analyze That." Katina wrote and co-directed a short film, "Lynn’s Wake", with her sister. The film was accepted and well received at several film festivals such as the Austin Film Festival. She also completed a documentary, "Virgins of New York," which had success at several festivals such as the Black Maria Film Festival, Coney Island Film Festival and more. She was an Associate Producer on Dan Roebuck's "Getting Grace" in the summer of 2016. In 2017, Katina wrote and directed her first feature with her sister, Koula Sossiadis Kazista, entitled “ Epiphany" which premiered at the Sarasota Film Festival. The film received worldwide recognition landing the film distribution. They are currently in the development stage of their second film, “The Next Play,” which will shoot here in the Lehigh Valley.
