Sinkane is the genre-defying project of Sudanese-American musician Ahmed Gallab. Blending Afrobeat, psychedelic funk, modern pop and spiritual jazz, his music explores themes of identity, community and experimentation. A former member of Yeasayer and the Atomic Bomb! Band, Gallab now leads Sinkane with a collaborative spirit and renewed purpose, as showcased in his latest album We Belong.
