“An Evening of Duoprovs” is back for a third show following two very successful performances in 2024! Pairs, twosomes, doubles – no matter the terminology, these Lehigh Valley improvisers will bring it on. Double-trouble is guaranteed.

Cohosted by Mindy Aratow (show creator) and Eileen Gentile, “An Evening of Duoprovs” features pioneering performances from the following five teams:

  • Estrogen Patch (Mindy Aratow and Eileen Gentile)
  • Hold the Applause (Shane Cohen and Kev Acevedo)
  • Early & Late (Nora Cuff and Jacqui Prestoy)
  • Tami and Terrence Trying Things (Terrence Haynes and Tami Quartuccio)
  • Naughty by Nurture (Kelcie and Richie Warmkessel)

Each team will perform long-form improv for 15 minutes based on everyday, wacky, or unusual audience suggestions.

Improv comedy is created on the spot, based off of audience suggestions at the top of the show. After talking to the audience, performers will turn the inspiration they got from the audience into a one-of-a-kind performance that has never been seen before and will never be seen again!

This show will contain adult language and/or situations. Seating will be assigned by ArtsQuest staff upon arrival into the showroom. This show is 18+. All performers and staff must adhere to our codes of conduct found here.

Mindy Aratow

Mindy Aratow, cohost for “An Evening of Duoprovs,” is the show creator and is on one of the featured teams. She is looking forward to more double trouble for this third show. Being a lifelong resident of New Jersey has its pros and cons but as expected, Mindy is a very aggressive driver and a connoisseur of pizza and diners. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, cats, and trying not to get stuck in her head. Mindy graduated from the ArtsQuest Improv Program in 2018. From November 2018 to August 2024, she managed the independent team, Model Citizen, which she also cofounded. She created a second independent team, Throw Like a Girl, in May 2020. Mindy is also the manager of this all-woman team. Throw Like a Girl has regular performances at different venues in the Lehigh Valley and has appeared several times at the SteelStacks Improv Comedy Festival. Her comedy sketch, “Just Talking Here,” was performed at the Rough Sketch show at SteelStacks in 2020. In addition, she was a contestant on the ValleyWeird Squares/Scares game show in 2020 and was the narrator for the “Oregon Trail Road Trip” rough sketch in 2019, both at SteelStacks.

Eileen Gentile

Cohost Eileen Gentile is an improvisor, actor, and writer from Bethlehem where she lives with her well-trained family and three unruly dogs. She discovered improv after surviving breast cancer, menopause, and raising a teenager. She has never looked back after diving headfirst into ArtsQuest comedy classes at every opportunity. Eileen performed with the all-woman improv team Throw Like a Girl from its inception in May 2020 through April 2025. This is her second time cohosting “An Evening of Duoprovs.” Her other accomplishments include performing the character sketch Bunny Seidle in The Wedding Show (2018). In addition, she has performed at The Moth in NYC (2017) and was the proud recipient of a third-place writing prize from Second City and Cornell University in the form of an Amazon gift card which was quickly spent on new linen sheets. Eileen’s work can also be seen in the deep background of TVs New Amsterdam (2018), Blue Bloods (2019), Succession (2018), and The Good Cop (2019). Her work in films includes The Worry Doll (2018) and Taking a Little Time to Feel Sorry for Myself (2017)
