Hailing from Doylestown, PA, Two Rocks Rye is an alternative rock band that blends elements of grunge, blues, jazz, and pop rock, creating a musical experience tailor-made for those who grew up on the sounds of the '90s. The band started as an acoustic duo nearly a decade ago by singer Matt Walters and guitarist Ben Smith (a New Zealander), before adding drummer Brian Shaw and bassist Brendan Cassidy to achieve a fuller sound. Since forming, they have released three studio albums, performed at numerous venues and festivals in the Greater Philadelphia Area, and were even recognized as 93.3 WMMR's Local Shots Artist of the Month in the summer of 2024.
