Director: Emilio Estevez
Stars: Emilio Estevez, Michael K. Williams, Alec Baldwin, Gabrielle Union, Jena Malone, Christian Slater

Emilio Estevez and Jena Malone star as Cincinnati public librarians who, when a cold front drives the local homeless population to an Occupy-style sit-in of the library in search of shelter, are caught in between their desire to help and the prohibitive rules they are bound by as city employees. When the media, district attorney, and riot police get involved, tensions escalate, forcing the librarians to choose a side.

Exploring the intersections of activism, social justice, and librarianship, the film raises questions around the role and responsibilities of a library within a community.

This screening is presented by the ACRL-Delaware Valley Chapter, a chapter of the Association of College & Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association.

This is a FREE screening. Please reserve tickets by calling 610-332-3378 or in person at the ArtsQuest Center Box Office.
