"The Dollar Store Movie Game Show", is going live in front of a studio audience for only the second time ever at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania!
Featuring comic celebrity contestants Evie Aronson (USA Network), Karin Knowlson (ArtsQuest), Dave Matters (Good Karma Comedy Festival) and Pamela Roth (Governor's Comedy Club) and hosted by Delaware's own, Frank Vignola (Comedy Central, SiriusXM, Armed Forces Entertainment).
A note from the show's creator and host Frank Vignola:
"The Dollar Store Movie Game Show" is a game show with a wink and a nod to the game shows of the 70s like "Match Game 73". It features four celebrity contestants and is hosted by me, Frank Vignola. The show itself consists of two rounds of trivia questions, with a riddle at the end as a 3rd round, and the winner gets a movie I purchased from the Dollar Store. Just silly, nerdy, goofy fun. Like lots of other Zoom shows this show was born of necessity during the pandemic but I've continued to do it even as the pandemic eased because I've always thought a live version would be a hoot. And also, in a live version our comic celebrities could play for audience members allowing them to win and take home these Rotten Tomatoes gems!

Evie Aronson (celebrity contestant)
Evie is a standup comic and improviser in NYC. Besides performing, her favorite thing is teaching Improv and Zumba for Visions Center for the Blind, Red Door Community, Brooklyn Public Library, and Lehman College (Aqua Zumba). You can see more of Evie on her YouTube channel, including her favorite passion project: a parody of "Apocalypse Now " called "A Pucker Lips Now".
Karin Knowlson (celebrity contestant)
Karin has appeared many times at Steel Stacks for ArtsQuest, all around the Lehigh Valley including Musikfest. Performing in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Maryland in comedy and variety shows she is currently working on writing a series of short stories about her own incredibly awkward life experiences.
Dave Matters (celebrity contestant)
Dave is an IT professional by day and a wicked smart Dollar Store Game Show contestant by night. His fierce competitiveness makes other contestants cower and they often surrender before completing the game. Dave often gives away his frequent prize winnings to needy bald people.
Pamela Roth (celebrity contestant)
Pamela left the practice of law and journeyed from the courthouses to appear on the comedy stages around the New York tri-state area. Ms. Roth has performed at numerous venues and comedy clubs at Dangerfield’s, Broadway, Governor’s, the new Rodney’s, and the Good Karma Comedy Festival. She is the host of the podcast "Pamela Roth Live".
Frank Vignola (your host)
Frank is a Delaware native who got his start in the business at Candlelight Dinner Theater doing productions of "Camelot" and "Fiddler" the summer between his senior year in High School and his freshman year at the University of Delaware. "If memory serves we got $5 a show for being in the chorus but the big money was in waiting tables in costume." After college Frank moved to NYC and has been a transplanted New Yorker ever since. Besides appearances on Comedy Central, Amazon Prime and SiriusXM radio, Mr. Vignola has performed at Montreal's prestigious "Just for Laughs" Comedy Festival and toured the Middle East with Armed Forces Entertainment.
This show will contain adult language and/or situations. Seating will be assigned by ArtsQuest staff upon arrival into the showroom. Anyone coming in between the ages of 13 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No child 12 or under will be admitted. All performers and staff must adhere to our codes of conduct found here.
